  • Get Started

Welcome to Takaunify! ๐ŸŽ‰ This section is designed to help you understand the platform, plan your implementation, and prepare your team before you start tracking and optimizing energy performance.

    ๐Ÿง  Understand How Takaunify Works

Takaunify is an integrated Energy Management Platform built to help you manage energy and operational performance through the following core modules:

    • ๐Ÿ“ฅ UBMS (Utility Bill Management System) โ€“ Centralized utility bill collection, validation, analysis, and reporting.

    • ๐Ÿ“ก Realtime Monitoring (RTMS) โ€“ Live metering of electricity, water, and cooling utilities.

    • โ˜€๏ธ Solar Module โ€“ Track solar generation, savings, and performance metrics.

    • โ„๏ธ Chiller Optimizer โ€“ Monitor and optimize chiller plant efficiency and performance.

    • ๐Ÿง  Asset Optimization / Fault Detection โ€“ Predictive analytics and fault insights for operational efficiency.

    • ๐Ÿ“Š Custom Reports & Dashboards โ€“ Visual insights tailored for technicians, managers, and executives.

    • ๐Ÿงพ M&V (Measurement & Verification) โ€“ Generate energy savings reports using industry-aligned methodologies.

    ๐Ÿ“ Pre-Implementation Checklist

Before you begin setting up on Takaunify, ensure you have the following ready:

    1. Organizational Hierarchy:

      • ๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Zones (e.g., regions or property clusters)

      • ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Projects (e.g., individual properties or buildings)

      • ๐Ÿข Buildings (specific structures within a project)

    2. Meter & Equipment Information:

      • Meter names, fuel types (Electricity, Water, Chilled Water, Diesel, etc.)

      • Account numbers, baseline data, and utility billing history (preferably past 12 months)

      • โš™๏ธ Types of meters (pulse, smart, analog), connectivity method (MQTT/API), and data frequency

    3. IoT & Asset Integration Requirements:

      • ๐Ÿ“‹ Detailed Asset List: Equipment like chillers, AHUs, pumps, solar inverters, etc.

      • ๐Ÿ”— Mapping of assets to meters (end-use assignment)

      • ๐Ÿท๏ธ Asset tagging and classification for operational and FDD use

      • ๐Ÿง  Sensor specifications and BMS/IoT gateway availability for integration

    4. User Roles & Team Access:

      • ๐Ÿ‘ค Admin users for overall platform control

      • ๐Ÿ‘ท Facility Managers for project-level insights

      • ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ง Technicians for operational tools and fault detection

      • ๐Ÿ“Š Finance team for UBMS & budgeting modules

      • ๐Ÿงช M&V or Energy Analysts for modeling and regression setup

    5. Metadata & Intensity Values:

      • Built-up area, leasable area, conditioned area, occupancy data, etc. used to calculate EUI/WUI

    6. Baseline & Budget Data:

      • Historical consumption and cost data by utility and asset (if available)

      • Defined baselines for M&V and ECM performance tracking

      • Monthly budgets for each utility/fuel type

    7. M&V Settings (If Applicable):

      • ๐Ÿ“‰ Define M&V approach (Options A, B, or C)

      • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Independent variables (CDD, occupancy, runtime hours, etc.)

      • ๐Ÿงฎ Adjustment rules (routine vs non-routine)

      • ๐Ÿ“Ž Historical ECM data or planned project schedule for implementation correlation
